Latest news from Newark Showground

When it shines, the sun is glinting off the autumn leaves and the Showground is looking great. We are excited to be shortly welcoming exhibitors, traders and visitors alike to what we are sure will be an excellent Vintage Tractor Show.

Some reminders for those who have not yet booked for the Saturday Night Do. Tickets are still available and for £15 you will get an excellent two course dinner; Traditional Home-made Steak & Ale Pie with a rich gravy and served with vegetables and potatoes and followed by a lovely Warm Bramley Apple Crumble and Cream. The meal is served with a glass of wine and followed with Coffee or Tea & Mints. There is a vegetarian option available. The Saturday Night Do is open to everyone, including the general public.

If you are a trader or exhibitor, why not plan to make a night of it and get a table together with like-minded acquaintances. Whole tables can be reserved if we have enough notice.

We are delighted to welcome the renowned local auctioneer, Ken Pritchard, as our guest speaker at the Saturday Night Do.

For those who like a little music with their food, Pete Schofield is entertaining in The Joe Hallam on Saturday night. Pete is a brilliantly versatile guitar vocalist from Tattershall with a show packed with hits from across the decades. After a busy day with the engines and livestock, why not come along and enjoy a casual evening with a drink and a tasty bar meal in Pete’s lyrical company. Free admission.
